Volitra Plus Gel is a combination of five drugs: Diclofenac, Capsaicin, Methyl salicylate, Linseed Oil, and Menthol. Volitra Plus Gel is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, strain, sprain, arthritis, and low back pain. Diclofenac and Methyl salicylate work by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make other chemical prostaglandins. By blocking the COX enzyme's effect, lesser prostaglandins are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Capsaicin exerts an analgesic effect by blocking the pain messengers of the nerves. Linseed oil helps in reducing inflammation. Menthol provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels, followed by an analgesic effect. It also enhances the penetration of drugs. Together, Volitra Plus Gel helps in providing relief from pain and inflammation.
