It’s used for several medical conditions: Glaucoma Lowers increased eye pressure by reducing fluid (aqueous humor) production. Altitude (Mountain) Sickness Helps prevent and treat symptoms like headache, nausea, dizziness, and fatigue when climbing to high altitudes. Epilepsy (Seizure Disorders) Used as an add-on treatment for certain types of seizures. Edema (Fluid Retention) Helps remove excess fluid in conditions like heart failure (less commonly used now).
